Rue^Fits wasn't created in a boardroom. It was built in the darkest chapter of my life.

For 19 years, I lived in a battle with alcoholism. Every promise to quit turned into another excuse. Every drink pulled me farther away from the man I wanted to be, the husband I should have been, and the father my children deserved. I lost moments with my family that I'll never get back. Birthdays, conversations, memories, and opportunities slipped away because alcohol always came first.

Eventually, I reached a point where I had two choices: continue down a path that was destroying everything I loved or fight for my life.

On November 7, 2023, I made the hardest and most important decision I've ever made—I made the beer disappear.

Sobriety didn't magically fix everything. It forced me to face every mistake I'd spent years trying to drown. It meant rebuilding trust one day at a time, learning who I really was without alcohol, and proving through my actions—not my words—that people could believe in me again.

Every day since then has been a choice. A choice to be present. A choice to be a better father. A better man. A better example.

Rue^Fits was born from that choice.

The crown with wings wasn't designed because it looked cool—it represents what freedom feels like after you've fought for it. The crown reminds me that every person has value, even when they've forgotten it. The wings symbolize breaking free from the addictions, fears, failures, and circumstances that try to keep us grounded.

Every design I create carries that meaning.
